Terms and Conditions
These terms of trade and delivery are in use on products bought on www.sunofjapan.com. To shop on sunofjapan.com you have to be at least 18 years old and have a valid debit card accepted by sunofjapan.com. Sunofjapan.com is owned by Sun Of Japan ApS.
When shopping on sunofjapan.com, you accept these terms and you are therefore obliged to look through the terms before ordering. Since sunofjapan.com can change these terms from time to time you should read the terms every time you are shopping at sunofjapan.com.
Payment and delivery
We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners, Klarna, Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay. The amount will be charged to you once the product is shipped.
Shipping is free of charge.
Delivery
We ship worldwide for most of our brands. Please refer to our FAQs page for further info.
If your order is received before 16:00 CEST UTC +2 (Working days), we aim to dispatch on the same day.
If your item showed ‘pre-order’, then please expect an additional 6-10 days to dispatch date.
Returns & Exchanges
If you would like to return an item, you must notify us at hello@sunofjapan.com within 14 days of receiving the item. The item must then be received by us within 14 days of this date.
The item must be in the same mint condition as you received, with no sign of scratches and with security label intact at bridge or in the side temple plus all accessories, labels stickers in original position.
Our customer service will create a digital PDF return shipping label, that will be send by email. The return shipping label must be printed out and attached on the package. You may drop the box at any UPS pick up points.
Please note the return & Exchange shipping cost will be deducted by us from your payment:
- Europe €19
- United States & non-EU Countries €39
Once received, we process returns as quickly as possible, but it can take up to 5 working days.
Exchanges
If a frame size does not fit we offer to exchange if possible. But if a different model is needed Instead you should return your item for a refund and place a new order for the alternative item.
You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item that you would like to return your order. The item must then be received by us within 14 days of this date.
Restocking
When more than 3 sunglasses are being returned for refund, Sun Of Japan may apply restocking fees of 10% of the total order. You are welcome to contact our customer service in case you need to try on more than 3 frames so we can advise.
Countries outside EU
Customs duties and fees for deliveries outside EU countries are to be borne by the customer.
Guarantee
We certify the authenticity of Sun Of Japan brands and each frame confirm that it has been handmade to the most exacting quality control by craftsmen in Japan. These are a precision made frame guaranteed against defective material and craftsmanship.
Sun Of Japan guarantee does not cover damage caused by stretching to any other shape or size.
Warranty
The warranty policy does not cover damages caused by stretching or physical mishandling of the frame in terms of shape or size. The warranty only covers manufacturing and technical defects excluding breakage. The warranty’s validity of two (2) year takes effects from the date of purchase. Kindly provide us with the email confirmatory of your purchase, showing the date of purchase, order number, and info about the frame.
